The
174 guest rooms on six floor are all indvidual and differ from
one another, last rennovated in 2001. Some feature original stained
glass windows, others have granite columns,high ceilings or a
balcony.
Every room
features a television with pay perview options, a minibar, iron
and ironing board, safe, working desk with dual line telephone
and modem plug possibility, voice mail mesaaging service, automated
wake-up system and complimentary mineralwater on arrival. Each
bathroom has a bath and shower combination, toiletries, enlarging
mirror, bathrobe and hair-dryer. A choice of queen, king and twin
rooms is available, and some rooms allow for a rollaway bed at
a surcharge (limited availability).

rooms start with the spacious Deluxe rooms of which most have
a balcony or a view over the canal or Leiseplein. Junior Suites
are even more spacious and offer a comfortable seating area and
Senseo Coffeemakers. The most beautiful suite is named after the
Dutch spy and dancer Matahari and has been refurbished in January
2004. It features two seating areas with leather sofa and chairs,
a bookshelf with books to borrow, a mini-stereo system, a working
area hidden from view, a whirlpool and the bed placed in the center
of the room nesteled against two granite columns. The suite has
a view over both the canal and the square is popular with honeymooners
and company executives.
